SAGANA and VOLTA join forces to strengthen ability to serve growing innovative finance sector

London and Zurich, 2 September 2022 – SAGANA GmbH (SAGANA) and Volta Capital Ltd (VOLTA) today announced the two businesses will join forces to strengthen the combined team’s ability to serve the growing innovative finance and impact investing sector. As part of the new partnership, VOLTA’s advisory business will merge with SAGANA and Liesbet Peeters, Founder and CEO of VOLTA, will join SAGANA as Senior Advisor and continue to lead key client engagements.

 

SAGANA is the next generation of investors, thinkers and doers, focused on unleashing the potential of business, capital, and people to improve human and planetary health. Since being founded in 2017, SAGANA has supported more than 100 organizations with impact investment advisory services and contributed to shifting more than USD 1 billion in capital into solutions achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

 

VOLTA provides tailored solutions to deploy impact capital, specializing in creating and structuring impact investment funds, financial vehicles and products that mobilize capital to meet the needs of underserved communities and generate improved financial and social returns.

The combined team will continue to support existing clients and leverage SAGANA’s global expertise and team of more than 40 investment, consulting and talent professionals located in 13 countries across five continents.
